Randy Meisner, wife
Randy Meisner's wife was Lana Rae Meisner. They were married from 1996 until her death in 2016. Lana was a cocktail waitress in Encino, California when she met Randy in 1984. They dated for nearly a decade before getting married.
Lana's death was a tragic accident. She was shot in the head while moving a rifle that was stored in a case in a closet. The gun went off when another item in the case shifted and hit the trigger.
Randy was devastated by Lana's death. He left the public eye for several years and struggled with depression. He eventually returned to music and released a solo album in 2017.
Randy died on July 26, 2023, at the age of 77. He was a founding member of the Eagles and one of the most popular rock bassists of all time.
